About.

I’m in the process of updating my website - more recent projects will be added soon.

I’m a Scottish director, producer and facilitator working in professional, youth and community contexts.

I’m a graduate of the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama and was a Resident Trainee Director at the King's Head Theatre.

I tell stories, new and old, in a visual manner. I also create opportunities for Scottish artists to develop their work and practice.

Directing credits include: Treasure Island by Ross Mackay (Cumbernauld Theatre & Visible Fictions); Snappy Opéras (Mahogany Opéra & Edinburgh International Festival); The Travelling Cranberries Christmas Show by Ross Mackay (Tour, OnFife); One Foot In Front Of The Other (Short Film, Renfrewshire Arts); Scott & Laura by Rona Munro (National Theatre of Scotland’s Scenes For Survival); Day or Night (Generation Science, Edinburgh International Science Festival); Harbour devised by the company (Royal Lyceum Theatre, part of Luminate); Shattered by Lisa Nicoll (Scottish tour); Success by Nick Drake (Royal Lyceum Theatre); WIRED by Lesley Wilson (Edinburgh Fringe) and We Were Kings by Daniel Cameron (Edinburgh Fringe). I have directed various scripts in development as part of events such as Words Words Words (Traverse Theatre); Stage to Page (Glasgow); Rapid Write Response (theatre503).

Producing credits include: Light The Blue Festival (Aberdeen Performing Arts); Merry (Pop-Up Tour, Tron Theatre & Audio Story Co); Suitcase Stories (Tron Theatre 2020-2021) and Army @ The Fringe (2019, 2020 and 2021 festivals). In 2019, I was the director of Rep Stripped, a festival of new work in the early stages of development that was part of Dundee Rep’s Spring 2019 season. In collaboration with producer Carla Almeida, I programmed over 30 artists across the 9 day festival and also directed work within. In 2016, I co-founded In Motion Theatre Company and was co-Creative Director of the Glasgow-based new writing company until July 2018.

As an assistant director, my credits include: The Monstrous Heart by Oliver Emanuel (Traverse Theatre/Stephen Joseph Theatre, dir. Gareth Nicholls); Passing Places by Stephen Greenhorn (Dundee Rep Theatre, dir. Andrew Panton); Dido & Aeneas by Henry Purcell (King's Head Theatre, dir. Valentina Cesci); Mad Forest by Caryl Churchill (Embassy Theatre, dir. Russel Bolam).

As a facilitator, I’ve worked on several projects with companies including Edinburgh International Festival, Perth Youth Theatre, Royal Lyceum Theatre and PACE Theatre Company in youth, community and adult drama contexts.
